PowerSearch 2.0 is a new, more visually appealing interface that gives users a Web-like experience and includes added features that will appeal to and empower library patrons, students and researchers. New features developed using end-user feedback include:

*Simplified browsing through 20,000+ publications

*New Publication Browse and Subject Browse, including hover technology

*ReadSpeaker technology for audio versions of articles or downloading  MP3 files

*Technology to support a range of languages with on-demand translation

*Ability to create individual account profiles & receive search alerts

*Customizable RSS feeds

*Enhanced search results that incorporate multimedia (mages, video & podcasts)

*Web 2.0 sharing tools, including delicious, MySpace, Reddit, Digg, Facebook, and more
